New Policy - Flu / Swine Flu

Flu / Swine Flu - New Policy Document

Due to the increasing risk of Flu and Swine Flu in the Falkirk area I have written a new policy with regard to how it is to be managed within my childminding service.

Mobile Weather

As a result of the severe wintry weather we have recently experienced I have now implemented a Mobile webpage which you can access from your mobile phone.

The address is http://www.agfalkirk.co.uk/mobile/

Providing you have internet facility on your mobile phone you should be able to view this page. Information contained on this page provides details of the current weather conditions, road conditions and a basic weather forecast.

I do hope you will find this of use should the poor weather conditions return.

Bad Weather

As this very cold spell of weather continues I have implemented additional resources so that you know what the conditions are like here.
I have now added a webcam image which updates every 2 minutes, a snow forecast section and road conditions.

SCMA Buzz Xmas Fun Day

On the 8th December myself and two little ones attended the Xmas Fun Day at the Buzz in Falkirk which was arranged by the Scottish Child Minding Association.
The kids enjoyed unlimited play in the Soft Play areas. The event looks like it was a great success and hopefully it will run again next year.
We had some very happy parents later in the day as the two little ones were shattered after all that running around.
