If you have completed and signed a contract and then do not wish to go ahead with the childminding with me then you will be charged a £50 cancellation fee.

You are required to give a minimum 4 weeks written notice of termination of contract and/or full fee in lieu of notice which is payable by the parent or carer.

The childminder can give you a minimum of 1 weeks written notice of termination should she feel that your child is not settling in, their behaviour impacts on other children in her care, should they conduct themselves in an inappropriate manner, failing to listen and failing to do as the childminder requests.

The childminder can reserve the right to terminate childminding services without notice if she feels that; your child has violent or inappropriate behaviour, your child destroys and steals property, abuse of the childminders pets, your child is a danger to other children, if the behaviour of your child is detrimental to the other children or are impacting on the welfare of special needs children in her care.

At the end of the notice period all items belonging to your child will be returned. However, if you fail to collect any items after being asked to retrieve them, they will be held for a maxium of 1 month before the items will be taken to a charity shop or recylced.

Please do not feel bad for terminating the contract. I understand circumstances change; new job, new working hours and moving location but to name a few. Termination of contract is a natural and inevitable process of the services I provide.
